Has anyone ever discussed the dented pickup truck in David Wayne Harting's case? I find it strange that besides a mention of it being found, there's not more information on whether the dent was new or if anyone remembers seeing it before he vanished. It's an old truck, so dings are possible, but I wonder if this might be a clue about where he was or who he interacted with around the time of his disappearance. Could it indicate an accident or an altercation? I'm curious if local body shops were ever asked about recent repairs or inquiries that matched the description — seems like it could be a potential lead.
Has anyone else been going over the details of David Wayne Harting's case and felt puzzled by the condition of his abandoned truck? Finding his wallet and personal belongings inside seems odd to me. I mean, if someone planned to leave voluntarily, wouldn't they take their essentials? Yet, his belongings were left untouched. This makes me wonder if maybe he left the truck in a hurry for some reason.
Plus, the fact that his last sighting was driving in and out of town has me thinking about possible scenarios. Could he have been meeting someone? It's strange that no further evidence has come up even with the searches and the medical urgency due to his glaucoma. The whole thing just leaves us with more questions than answers. I'm really hoping that sharing thoughts and theories here can help bring some new perspectives or even lead to useful information. Thoughts?
