Hey all,
I was just thinking about the local businesses and neighbors around Southeast 124th Avenue and Powell Boulevard where Andre Ethel was tragically killed. It must be incredibly tough for the people who live and work around there. Imagine how unsettling it is to know something so tragic happened right in your own neighborhood. And it must be a constant reminder every time they pass by that intersection. My heart goes out to Andre's family and friends as well as the community that has to live with the shadow of this unsolved crime. Hopefully, someone comes forward with information that could help the investigation. I'm really curious if there have been any changes in security or surveillance measures in that area since this incident. Anyone heard anything about that?
I've been following Andre Charles Ethel's case pretty closely, and one thing that really strikes me is the location of the incident. Southeast 124th Avenue and Powell Boulevard is not exactly the quietest spot in Portland, especially around midnight. It's a bit unsettling to think about how many people might have been in the area at that time, possibly going about their night, and yet there's still a total lack of leads or witnesses coming forward. It makes me wonder if there are folks out there who might have seen or heard something but are afraid to speak up for whatever reason. My thoughts are with Andre's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. I hope there's a breakthrough in the case soon and that someone finds the courage to share any useful information they might have.
I’ve been thinking a lot about Andre Charles Ethel’s case lately. It’s so sad to see how many lives were lost in Portland in 2022 with no answers for families searching for justice. February 14 was supposed to be a day of love, yet it marked such a devastating moment for Andre’s loved ones. Can’t shake the feeling that someone out there knows something. It’s frustrating to see these investigations, including Andre’s, hit a wall. It feels like every time a life is lost, a community loses a piece of itself. Really hoping someone comes forward with information soon so his family can find some peace. If anyone has heard new info or has thoughts on why so many cases hit a dead end, let’s discuss. We shouldn’t let Andre be forgotten.
