It's truly shocking to hear about the involvement of a 16-year-old in such a horrific crime. I can't even imagine what Leonard Madden's family is going through right now. His kids and grandson especially must be devastated. It's such a tragic situation all around. It makes you wonder about the circumstances that led to the suspect's actions and what kind of intervention could have prevented it. I hope that both Leonard's family and the suspect's family find the support they need during this incredibly difficult time.
