I've been following the discussion around Eduardo Santana Lopez Jr.'s tragic case, and one thing that's been on my mind is the role of potential eyewitnesses that night. It's commendable that the police acted quickly and managed to arrest a suspect fleeing the scene, but I keep thinking about the people who might have seen it all unfold. It must be incredibly difficult for them to process what happened. It's a burden to witness such violence and then have to recount it for investigators. I hope those who came forward with information know they are truly helping Eduardo’s family find some semblance of justice. It can never undo the loss, but standing up to make sure the truth is known is such a courageous act. Keeping Eduardo's loved ones in my thoughts as the investigation progresses.
