It's hard to wrap my head around how much David accomplished in just 19 years. He seemed like one of those all-around amazing young men who was just full of potential. I mean, being in the marching band, jazz band, drama, tennis—and then starting The Distorted Penguins? That's so impressive. Plus, his involvement in his church speaks volumes about his character. It's absolutely tragic what happened to him and his mother. I can't help but wonder about the investigation—or lack thereof—from the available information. It just doesn't make sense that there's been no public mention of suspects or arrests. It makes me think of what it must be like for their family and friends, not having those answers. My heart goes out to those who knew and loved them; this must be an unimaginable loss.
