I came across the case of William Christopher Belknap who was tragically shot in Clay County, WV back in January 2017, and I'm curious about the decision to release the suspect’s photo. I think it's amazing how quickly law enforcement worked with the community on this one. It seems like putting Craig Douglas Holcomb’s image out there was a smart move to get the public's attention and potentially gather more leads. I've seen similar strategies in other cases that sometimes lead to tips from people who might have seen something or know his whereabouts. Does anyone know if Holcomb has any distinguishing features or if more info about him was shared later on? It’s frustrating that there wasn't more detail, and I just hope they managed to get some good tips from the release. My thoughts are with William’s family as they navigate through this time, and I really hope that there's been progress in finding justice for him.
