I've been following the case out of Nicholas County, and it just keeps weighing on my mind. I wanted to focus on the pending divorce aspect that seems to have played a part in this tragedy. It’s absolutely soul-crushing to think about how strained relationships can escalate into such irreversible actions. Divorce is already such a painful process for everyone involved, and the fact that it might have contributed to the loss of two lives is deeply unsettling. I can’t imagine what both families must be going through now, dealing not only with grief but also the complexities of such a tragic situation. How can we, as a society, better support people going through such emotional turmoil before it leads to something this devastating? My heart truly goes out to everyone affected.
