Has anyone else been following the details around the numerous calls Fagons made to Reed while she was at work? It seems like that adds an awful layer of control and manipulation to an already volatile situation. From what I understand, he was trying to get her to fabricate a family emergency so he could leave his job—if true, that shines a light on just how complex this situation was. Normal, healthy relationships don’t operate in this kind of climate, where fabrications and threats are commonplace. I can’t help but think about what Carli must have endured leading up to that tragic day. Her defending herself against such a controlling situation just gets overshadowed in the midst of everything surrounding the case. Does anyone know if this pattern of behavior had been documented anywhere prior to the incident to possibly substantiate her claims of ongoing abuse? It's hard not to feel for everyone involved, especially considering how these events can't be undone and have irrevocably changed so many lives.
