I've been thinking a lot about the witnesses who might have seen what happened to Eric James Smith. Can you imagine the impact it must have had on them? I hope they’re getting the support they need because that kind of experience can be deeply traumatic. It must be incredibly difficult for them to carry this weight while trying to honor Eric's memory by staying strong and coming forward with what they know.
