I’ve been thinking a lot about Jane Gamble Sharak’s case lately, especially the roles of Anthony and Joshua Gamble. It’s just so unsettling to think about how something like this could be orchestrated by two brothers. It's pretty clear from what’s been reported that law enforcement didn’t rush this case, which probably means they had a labyrinth of evidence and leads to untangle. It makes me wonder about the dynamics between Anthony and Joshua. Were there any indications prior to this tragedy that something was amiss, or that they could be capable of such an act? You often hear how tight-knit some sibling relationships can be, but this kind of cooperative violence is just chilling. Somebody knows something—maybe someone from their school or community in Somerset saw signs or picked up on something odd. Thinking of Jane’s friends and family, it must be so hard to fathom not just losing someone you love in such a violent way, but to also know that her life was taken under such deliberate circumstances. The strength and cooperation it must have taken among law enforcement to piece everything together and work across state lines is significant. Let’s hope justice truly prevails not just legally, but also in bringing some measure of peace to those who knew and loved her.
