I've been following the case of Kelly Zummo since it happened, and I can't stop thinking about how often we miss the signs of domestic violence until it's too late. It's haunting to imagine what she might have been going through leading up to that New Year's Day. I wonder if there were any friends, family, or colleagues who might have seen signs and felt helpless to intervene. This raises so many questions about how we can better support people who might be silently suffering in abusive relationships. For those in the community, do you remember any initiatives or support groups that cropped up after this tragedy? It'd be good to know if there's been something positive in terms of raising awareness or improving resources for victims. We need to keep the conversation going and ensure that no one feels alone in these situations. My heart goes out to Kelly’s loved ones; it's important we honor her memory by advocating for change.
