I'm thinking about Wayne's mom, Trenda, and his kids—how do they cope with this? Besides the heartbreak, they must also be dealing with a sense of injustice and unanswered questions. It’s a reminder of how these violent crimes create ripples far beyond just the immediate victim. The fact that friends and family are lighting candles and sharing memories online shows how much he was loved and how deeply his loss is felt. Here’s hoping they get some answers and peace soon.
