I've been thinking a lot about how Amanda's children are coping with their loss. Losing a parent, especially in such a senseless and violent way, must be incredibly devastating. I can't imagine the depth of their pain. They not only have to navigate their own grief but also make sense of a world that feels infinitely less safe now. It’s tough too, knowing that the sentence doesn’t bring Amanda back or fully account for the impact on her family. I truly hope they can find some comfort and support in each other and the community. Does anyone know if there’s a fund or something set up for her kids? I’d like to help in any way I can. My heart really goes out to them and all of Amanda’s loved ones during this difficult time.
