I've been following the case of Lisa C. Geiger from Charleston, WV, and it's just so unsettling to think about what her family is going through right now. I can't even begin to imagine how her daughter and grandkids are coping with this loss. What I find so puzzling is how the police say there's no immediate threat to the community, yet there's still no suspect in custody. Does anyone else think this might suggest that they have a person of interest they're not sharing details about publicly? Or maybe there's a chance that it was someone she knew? It's just such a scary thought that something so violent happened in what I understand is usually a pretty peaceful neighborhood. If anyone has any insights or thoughts about how these kind of investigations are usually handled, I'd love to hear. Serious respect for those officers working on this and hoping they get the break they need soon. Sending love and strength to Lisa's family and community. ?
Has anyone noticed how the police emphasized there's no "immediate threat" to the community on Adele Street? It makes me wonder if they have some kind of lead or understanding about Lisa's tragic death that they're not sharing with the public yet. Could it mean they suspect it's not a random act of violence? I've seen this kind of language used in other investigations when they have reason to believe the victim was specifically targeted, but they aren't saying anything more until they have solid evidence. It makes the whole situation even more unsettling, though. My heart goes out to Lisa's family—her daughter and grandchildren must be going through so much right now. I just hope they get some answers soon. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Lisa Geiger’s case from Charleston, and I just can’t stop thinking about her family, especially her daughter and three grandkids. Losing someone like that is devastating, and I can’t imagine the pain they must be going through right now. It’s clear Lisa was deeply loved and cherished by those who knew her.
I was particularly touched by the balloon release ceremony her loved ones organized. It’s such a heartfelt way to honor her memory and show that she’s not forgotten. These acts of love and remembrance must help her family find some solace amidst their grief.
But it’s so frustrating that this case hasn’t moved forward with any arrests or leads. There’s someone out there who knows something, and I hope they find the courage to step forward. Lisa’s family deserves answers and justice.
For anyone reading this in the Charleston area, please keep your eyes and ears open, and don’t hesitate to reach out to the authorities if you know anything. Even the smallest detail could be vital.
Thinking of Lisa’s family and the strength they must summon every day. ?

Keep safe, everyone.
