I've been reading through the details of George Leonard's case, and something that stands out to me is the composite sketch of the suspect from back in 1981. It's astonishing to think how far we've come with forensic technology, yet how limited things were back then. I can't help but wonder if the original sketch still exists and whether modern methods could refine it or maybe even create a digital version that might jog someone's memory. The community's response at the time, pooling resources for a reward, shows how much George was loved and respected. It breaks my heart that, despite their efforts, no justice has been found even after all this time. Advances in DNA tech give hope, but it’s another reminder of how cold cases can be such a painful limbo for the families involved. I truly hope that someone comes forward with new information. Even the smallest piece of the puzzle might finally lead to resolution and some peace for those who knew George.
