Hey everyone, I've been following Shawn Michael North's case, and something that really stands out to me is the community's response, or lack thereof, over the years. It's always so puzzling when a crime like this happens in a community as close-knit as Waterloo supposedly is, and yet, it seems like there’s been such a silence around it. I keep wondering if someone out there knows something and is just too scared or unsure about coming forward. I truly hope that as time passes, more awareness is raised about what happened to Shawn. It seems he had to endure so much pain due to someone else’s reckless actions. It's just tough to fathom why no one's been able to point the investigators in a solid direction after all this time. Hopefully, the Elizabeth Collins Foundation and others can keep the pressure on, and maybe some new perspective or piece of info will surface. My thoughts are with Shawn’s loved ones, who, I imagine, are still waiting for justice and closure. If anyone out there has any idea, even the smallest detail, now’s the time to speak up.
