Did anyone else find it unsettling how Sean seemed so calm during his interview with the detective? I was reading through the transcripts, and it's eerie how he just laid out the whole sequence of events without much emotion. I can’t imagine the pain this must have caused for any remaining family or friends. It’s a sad reminder that sometimes those closest to us can be struggling silently. I hope those affected by the tragedy have found some peace or support in their communities. My heart goes out to them.

I've been following the Freese case for a while, and something that's always stood out to me is the role of Sean's girlfriend, Ellyott, in the events leading up to that tragic night. From what we've read, it sounds like she was at the house earlier in the evening, and everything seemed normal, at least according to her account. It must be incredibly difficult for her to process what happened afterward, especially considering she was with Sean hours before the murders. If Ellyott didn't sense any immediate danger or significant tension beyond the usual family disagreements, it makes me wonder how much of what happened was truly “snapping” versus underlying issues that weren't visible to those around them. My heart goes out to her as she navigates the aftermath, likely filled with questions about whether anything noticeable might have changed the course of events. This whole situation is so devastating, and it raises so many questions about warning signs and the struggle between young adults and their parents. Does anyone know if she continued to stay in touch with Sean during the trial or post-sentencing? It seems like such a heavy burden for someone so young.
