I’ve been following the case of Harmon Wesley "Wes" Wright III, and it’s just devastating to think about how his life was cut short. I keep wondering about any potential warning signs that might’ve been ignored. It seems like too often we hear about tragic endings where there were red flags that went unnoticed or unreported. Though the details of what led up to the incident aren’t public, I hope the community can find ways to better address issues related to mental health or conflict, which might prevent such tragedies in the future. Healing from this kind of loss, especially in a small community like Prairie City, must be incredibly challenging. My thoughts are with his family and everyone affected.
