Hi everyone,
I've been following the Denelius Nesby case and, like many of you, I am deeply concerned about the lack of progress in identifying a suspect. Something that caught my attention recently was the role of Iowa Cold Cases in keeping this unsolved tragedy in the public spotlight. I've seen how these organizations can be pivotal in generating fresh leads, and it seems like they could really use our help to keep the momentum going.
If anyone has experience or thoughts on how community members might assist Iowa Cold Cases or similar organizations, especially in nurturing public interest or providing logistical support for raising awareness, it would be incredibly valuable. Every little bit helps in cases like this, where it seems so few solid leads are available to work with.
My heart goes out to the Nesby family and the community, and I just hope we can come together to support them in this search for justice. Any insights or ideas would be appreciated. Let's keep this conversation going and see what more we can do.
Hi everyone,
I just can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on the neighborhood. I've been a resident of Waterloo all my life, and it's unsettling how close to home this hit. The parking lot on Logan Avenue isn't somewhere you'd typically imagine something so violent happening—it shakes the sense of safety you normally feel in familiar places. Being aware that Denelius Nesby's murder remains unsolved is a constant reminder for many of us that there's someone out there who hasn't been held accountable yet.
I wonder if there are any other witnesses who might have heard or seen something that morning and just haven't come forward yet. Sometimes even the smallest detail could trigger something significant for the investigators. It's really important for the community to rally together and share any piece of information, no matter how trivial it might seem. We owe it to Denelius and his family to do everything in our power to support the investigation.
Stay safe out there, everyone. Let’s keep this case alive in conversation and hope for a resolution soon.
I keep thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on the Waterloo community and Denelius Nesby’s loved ones. It’s been over six years, and still, no answers. The fact that it happened so early in the morning in a public parking lot just boggles my mind. It's like the world was still asleep while this horrific event unfolded.
I read somewhere that the Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers are still offering a reward for any information. It’s encouraging to see their continued dedication. If anyone knows anything, anything at all, please consider reaching out. Holding onto information could mean that Denelius's family is still waiting for justice and closure. Every bit of information counts, even if it seems insignificant.
I've seen other cases get unexpected breakthroughs years later and I hope the same will happen here. It's crucial we keep discussing cases like this to ensure they're not forgotten. Stay vigilant and let’s keep supporting the Nesby family in any way we can.
