Hey everyone, I've been reading a lot about the tragic murder of Jason L. Napoles in Gage Park back in 2016, and one aspect that really stands out is the terrible impact this has had on his family and friends. I can't even begin to imagine their pain, losing someone so young and full of potential in such a brutal way. It's stories like this that remind us how deeply violence can ripple through a community. Even though the years have passed, I hope his loved ones have found some support and strength to carry on. These neighborhoods are often caught in cycles of violence, making it so difficult for kids like Jason to find ways out. I really hope more attention and resources are directed toward community programs that can help prevent these tragedies. So frustrating to see how slow progress can be. Anyone here know of any successful initiatives elsewhere that could serve as models for places like Gage Park? Would love to hear your thoughts.
