Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic story of Candy Rogers and the breakthrough identification of John Reigh Hoff as her murderer. This has me thinking about the impact that closure can have on families, even after so many years. It's incredible to see how far DNA technology has come and how it can finally provide answers to those who've been in the dark for decades. I can't imagine the emotional whirlwind Candy's family must be experiencing, knowing that justice has finally been served, albeit posthumously. It’s also unsettling to realize that Hoff lived so close to Candy and that her family spent all those years with him right in their community. Does anyone else get chills thinking about these cold cases being so close to home? It's terrifying, but I’m grateful for the tenacity of detectives who keep pushing for justice no matter how much time has passed. Let's hope this gives Candy's loved ones some measure of peace. What are your thoughts on how this case has unfolded?
