I’ve been following Jeffrey Alan Vik’s case since it first got some media attention, and something keeps nagging at me. Has anyone thought about where he might be getting glasses if he’s still out there somewhere? I know it sounds random, but he’s pretty distinct looking with his height and beard, and glasses are often a must if you wear them regularly. I wonder if there's been any efforts to check with local optometrists nearby or in neighboring states to see if anyone matching his description has come in or ordered a pair. It's little things like this that sometimes lead to a break in these kinds of cases. If anyone has thoughts or knows if this angle has been pursued, it would be interesting to hear about it.
I recently found out about Jeffrey Alan Vik's missing person case from Boise back in 2019. Something that has been bothering me is the silver 1998 Mercury he might have been driving. I mean, cars like that aren't super common anymore, right? I wonder if anyone around the area might recall seeing a car matching that description or even remembers any sort of unusual sightings around that time.
It's so puzzling that after all this time, there seem to be no leads around that car from the public or any traffic cams. Maybe the car got abandoned or went unnoticed in a less-traveled area? I've heard of cases where vehicles were found years later just sitting in remote locations. It would be interesting if anyone has ideas or can check older records for cars like this one that might have been sold or reported parked suspiciously. Just a thought!
