I can't stop thinking about the ripple effects of Devan's passing on his younger siblings. From what I've read about him, he seemed to be a true role model, the kind of big brother who would always have your back. It's devastating to consider how his siblings looked up to him and now have this void in their lives. It’s hard enough losing a sibling, but in such a senseless and violent way, it must be even more traumatic for them. I hope they have a strong support system around them to help navigate this immense loss. The ongoing violence in Chicago seems to rob families not just of their loved ones, but also disrupts any sense of security and stability in their lives. My thoughts are with Devan's family, especially his little brothers and sisters, in this incredibly difficult time.
