I came across Isaiah J. Fernandez-Smith’s case recently, and it’s frustrating how little information there is about it. At just 15, he passed away, but there seems to be a cloud of mystery around what actually happened. The fact that no details have emerged about suspects or any investigation makes you wonder if justice will ever be served. His family and friends must be going through such a difficult time, especially with the lack of closure. The funeral arrangement does mention a private Celebration of Life, which probably brought some comfort to those who knew him, but it doesn’t fill in the gaps of what led to that tragic day. Does anyone know if there’s been any community outreach or memorial efforts to honor Isaiah beyond the service? It’d be great to see his memory kept alive and maybe even see some movement on getting answers to what happened.
