Hi everyone, I've been following the case of Cortavius Benford’s murder, and something that's been on my mind is the apartment complex itself where this tragic event took place. Has anyone else felt uneasy about how easy it seemed for such a violent incident to occur so openly in a residential area like 226 Palmer Drive? It makes me wonder about the security measures, if any, that were in place at the time. Were there cameras or any kind of security presence? I can’t imagine the fear and worry this might stir up for other residents there. It's so unsettling to think that a place meant for living and community can become the crime scene of something so horrific. I hope that in the aftermath, attention is also given to improving safety so the residents can feel some degree of peace and security. It must be especially hard for those who knew Cortavius, living with the memory of such a loss in their community. My heart goes out to his family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time. Would love to hear thoughts or any info from locals about whether anything has changed there since the incident. Stay safe, everyone.
