I've been thinking a lot about the timeline in Marty's case. It's just haunting to think how he vanished on June 12, 1982, and it took over a year for his family to get confirmation of his fate. It's hard to imagine the agony his loved ones must have felt during that time. I keep wondering about that crucial period before he was identified. Were there any missed opportunities during those months when his identity was unknown? Perhaps someone saw something unusual they didn't think was related or maybe a truck driver noticed a stranded hitchhiker fitting Marty's description? It's such a complex and tragic case, and I really hope any small detail might eventually help bring answers and some sense of closure to his family. My heart goes out to them, and I hope justice for Marty is achieved someday.
