Hey everyone, I've been reading through what info there is about Deputy Sheriff Michael Scott Welcker's case, and my heart goes out to his friends, family, and colleagues. What a tragic loss for the community. I'm curious if anyone knows more about the Granada Apartments back in '94. Was it known to be a high-crime area, or was this incident unexpected for that location? Any local history could provide more context for why such a tragic event happened there. It's always tough trying to piece together the "why" behind these senseless acts. Hoping for some insight. Stay safe, y'all.
