I was reading about the shooting at the Family History Library and couldn't help but feel a deep sense of sorrow for Patricia Irene Frengs. She traveled all the way from California with her husband, eager to dive into her genealogy research, only to meet such an unimaginable fate. It sounds like she was so passionate about uncovering family histories, and I can't even begin to comprehend what her family and friends are going through. It's just so unfair that something so innocent and scholarly would end in such violence. What struck me was how dedicated patrons like Patricia must have been, making trips specifically to access the extensive resources there. It just reminds me of how such a positive journey can be cut short so abruptly. Has anyone else here visited the library? Knowing what happened there must make it a different experience. My thoughts go out to the Frengs family and everyone else affected by this tragedy.

Hello everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Patricia Irene Frengs and her dedication to genealogy. It's incredibly sad that someone so passionately engaged in uncovering the threads of her family's past was taken from us in such a horrific manner. Her trip to Salt Lake City, one might say, was much more than a hobby—it was a journey of understanding and belonging. It must be heartbreaking for her husband, John, who shared this journey with her. My heart goes out to him and the rest of Patricia's family. I hope they find some comfort in knowing she was doing something she loved and was undoubtedly touching lives with her enthusiasm and dedication.
