It's so sad to think about Kari’s family and friends still dealing with the aftermath of her tragic passing. I've been researching this case and can’t help but wonder about how the legal process unfolded for Jose Luis Topete. Given that he was charged with manslaughter, I'm curious about what evidence was presented that led authorities to categorize it as an 'accidental' death but still hold Topete responsible. Does anyone know if there were any statements from witnesses or forensic evidence that played a key role in this decision? It's just all so perplexing, and my heart goes out to Kari’s loved ones who must have so many unanswered questions.
