In the summer of 1993, a 24-year-old man named Warren Alexander Brindel, also known as Alex, moved to Quartzsite, Arizona. He found work at a diner in the nearby town of Hope. Warren maintained regular contact with his family through phone calls and letters. The last time his family heard from him was in a phone call to his mother in December of that year.
