Hey everyone, I’ve been reading up on the Trolley Square shooting and can’t shake the thought of Jeffrey Walker and his son A.J. It's just devastating to imagine what that experience was like for them and their family. It baffles me that they were just on their way out of the mall and happened to cross paths with Talović in those crucial moments. The randomness of it all feels so unfair. I keep thinking about the impact on A.J., surviving such a traumatic event at such a young age. I can't even begin to fathom what it's like to lose a parent in such a violent and senseless way. It really highlights the unpredictability of life and how one moment can change everything. I hope A.J. and the rest of Jeffrey’s family have found some measure of peace in the years since, though I'm sure it's an ongoing journey. Anyone else have insights or thoughts on how such events shape the lives of those left behind?
