I was reading through some details about the Matern family tragedy, and I can’t stop thinking about the text messages Justin sent out right before taking his own life. It’s chilling to imagine how those friends and family must have felt getting such devastating news in such an abrupt and shocking way. I wonder if we’ll ever truly understand why someone would reach out in that manner after committing such a horrific act. Maybe he was trying to shift some of the emotional burden or looking for some last moment of connection? Whatever his reasons, I can't help but feel deep sorrow for everyone involved, especially those who received those texts and were left to grapple with the aftermath. It just speaks to the broader conversation about the silent struggles people might be dealing with and how complicated human emotions and relationships can be. My heart really goes out to both sides of the family, having to process such an unimaginable loss under those circumstances.
