It's so difficult to read about what happened to the Haynie family. I've been trying to wrap my head around why this tragedy unfolded the way it did. Can anyone shed light on CJ's background or upbringing? I know sometimes people look for clues in a perpetrator's past or mental health state to understand their motive. It’s chilling to think that this was supposedly planned. What must have been going on in CJ’s mind? It's just so upsetting to think about how much potential Milan and her siblings had, and how their futures were stolen from them. If anyone has more on CJ or the family dynamics leading up to that day, I would be interested to learn. RIP to all the victims, and my heartfelt sympathies to the father and anyone who knew and loved them.

I've been following the Grantsville case and can't get over the role of timing in the tragedy. It’s incredibly haunting how each family member just happened to arrive home within that time frame, completely unaware of the danger waiting for them. I keep thinking about what might have changed if one of them had been delayed for even a few more minutes. It’s so chilling to imagine the normalcy of their routines that day and how suddenly it all changed. My heart goes out to Milan, just 12 years old, and all the family members whose lives were cut short in such a senseless act. I hope the surviving father finds peace and healing amidst this unimaginable loss. It's really just so hard to understand the why behind it all.
