Has anyone else been following the courtroom proceedings for Tommy Bradshaw Jr.? I find it astonishing how he maintained that the shooting was accidental, even though he admitted to some really reckless stuff prior. I mean, firing a gun out of a sunroof? It bothers me that someone with such a history could claim this was unintentional with a straight face. I can't imagine how Jamal's family feels hearing his defense, especially after losing someone who was such a positive figure in their lives. Saw the vigil video, and it was so touching to see how many people cared about Jamal. Makes you wonder how many lives could be spared if folks took better care with firearms. What do you all think?

It's so tragic to see a young life like Jamal "Tank" Goodman’s cut short, especially someone who was clearly such a positive force in his community. What stands out to me is the impact he had not only in St. George but also back in his hometown of Corona, California. The fact that his high school held a candlelight vigil speaks volumes about the person he was and how far-reaching his influence extended. It's also profoundly concerning to think that this was all due to claimed "recklessness" with a firearm. How does someone with a history like that still have access to guns? It's important to remember Jamal as someone who had dreams and aspirations and was looked up to by many. My thoughts are with his family and friends who are left navigating this unimaginable loss. I hope this case serves as a wake-up call to prevent tragedies like this from happening in the future.
