I've been following Benny's case closely and something that's been on my mind is the role the West Jordan Police played in the investigation. Given Benny's connection to a West Valley City officer, I think transferring the case to another department was a wise move to avoid any conflicts of interest. It shows a level of transparency and integrity that's crucial in such situations, especially when the community is already reeling from such a senseless tragedy. Benny's family deserved a straightforward investigation, and I hope this decision brought them some comfort knowing everything possible was done to deliver justice. Anyone else have thoughts on how different departments handle cases under these circumstances? It’s so important to maintain trust in the process, especially for the community that loved Benny so much.
