Just read the latest update about the case, and I'm left with so many questions. It’s been over two years since Englandsienna Pauulu was tragically killed, and my thoughts are with his loved ones as they continue to seek justice. The part that really sticks with me is the role of Jaime Dirzo-Portugal. Even though it’s clear that Alex Ruiz-Martinez was the one who pulled the trigger, Dirzo-Portugal allegedly handing him the gun complicates things. I can't help but wonder about his mindset during the incident. Was it genuine fear pushing him to pass the gun, or was it something else? If he was indeed getting beaten up, it seems like Ruiz-Martinez's belief that he was defending someone could have some merit. Still, it doesn't excuse the end result—the loss of a young man's life, which is just devastating. I hope justice takes its course and all those involved are held responsible, but it won't bring Pauulu back to his family and friends. The pain must be unimaginable. As the case progresses, I’ll be following any updates closely. If anyone has insights or more details, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
