Just thinking about the impact on Patrolman McKeon's family, I can't even imagine what they went through. Losing a loved one so suddenly and violently must have been such a heavy burden to bear. His three kids growing up without their father’s presence and guidance is really sad. It's a reminder of the real-life consequences violence can have on families. I hope they found some peace and support from their community over the years. The Connecticut Police Memorial serves as a testament to his bravery, but it's truly the love and memories kept alive by his family that honor his legacy the most. Let's always remember the families left behind, who carry that loss every day.
