Has anyone been able to dig up more on the Odom siblings' case from 1967? It's so unnerving that such a grave tragedy can slip through the cracks with almost no information available to the public after all these years. I can't begin to imagine what the family went through—and still must go through—carrying the burden of their loss without clarity or justice. It's unsettling how some cases just vanish from public consciousness, despite the pain left in their wake. If anyone has local knowledge or access to resources from that time, it would be great to shed more light on this for Wendy and James. They deserve to be remembered, and their family deserves answers.
Hello everyone,
I recently stumbled upon the tragic case of Wendy and James Odom from 1967, and I've been thinking about the impact this must have had on their family and the Groton community. It's so devastating to know that two little ones were taken from their loved ones, and from the little information we have, it seems like the family was left without answers for all these years.
I can't help but wonder about the parents and how they coped with such a loss. Did they have any other children? Did they remain in Groton, or did they move away, trying to find peace elsewhere? It's heartbreaking that there's so little to go on. If anyone has insights or snippets of information, even about the family and their lives before this incident, it could help paint a better picture of the aftermath and how they were remembered within the community.
Sending thoughts to anyone who may have been touched by this tragedy.
Hey everyone, I came across the case of Wendy and James Odom, the two siblings who lost their lives back in '67 in Groton, and it's honestly disturbing how there's barely any info on what actually happened. I can't stop thinking about the parents. Losing not just one but both children so young, and then having no answers or justice after all these years? It's unimaginable.
Does anyone know if there was ever any media coverage or local chatter back then? I’ve been trying to find old newspaper records or anything that might shed some light, but it’s like hitting a brick wall. Sometimes older community members might have memories or stories passed down. If anyone here is familiar with the Groton area, any insights could help piece this together.
It's important we keep their memory alive and push for clarity, even if it's decades later. Any tips on where to look or who to contact for more info would be appreciated. Let’s see what we can do for Wendy and James.
