I recently came across a tribute page for Eddie Kennison, and it really struck me how loved and respected he was in his community. It seems like he had such a positive impact on the youth sports scene in both Manchester and South Windsor. It makes me think about the kids who lost such a dedicated coach who probably taught them more than just the game; he likely imparted important life lessons as well. It's hard not to wonder how the community has been coping with the loss of someone so active and vital. Has there been any initiative to honor his memory through sports or other community efforts? Kids often remember those who care enough to invest time in them, and it would be wonderful to see Eddie's passion for coaching continue to inspire others. For anyone who knew him or was involved in those youth programs, how have they been keeping his spirit alive? My thoughts are with his family and everyone who had the chance to know him.

Does anyone else find it uplifting how Eddie Kennison seemed to touch so many lives both on and off the field? Reading about his days as a standout athlete at Manchester High School and then seeing how he stayed involved with coaching youth sports is really inspiring. It’s clear he was more than just a coworker to those he worked with at Hartford Distributors—he was a mentor and an all-around great person. I can't even begin to imagine the guidance and joy he must have brought to those kids in Manchester and South Windsor. I hope his legacy lives on through the passion for sports and community that he fostered in those around him. ? My thoughts are with his family and everyone affected by this tragedy.

Hi all, I've been reading about the incredibly sad story of Eddie Kennison and the others who tragically lost their lives in the 2010 Hartford Distributors shooting. While looking deeper into Eddie's life, I was struck by how much he gave back to his community, especially through sports. It's clear he was more than just a coworker; he was a mentor and a positive influence for many young athletes in Manchester and South Windsor. Being someone active in community sports myself, I can only imagine the void left by his absence. Eddie's dedication to youth programs wasn't just about teaching soccer skills but about instilling life values and fostering a sense of belonging and teamwork. I hope those who knew him carry on his legacy by continuing to support and uplift young athletes. It’s touching to see how one person's passion and kindness can ripple through so many lives. Sending all my thoughts to Eddie’s friends and family and all affected by this senseless tragedy. May his memory continue to inspire and bring people together. Take care, everyone.
