I’ve been thinking about the use of those cold case playing cards in Luis Guncay’s investigation. It's crazy how such a simple concept can breathe new life into these cases. While it’s a bit unconventional, the fact that it’s already helped solve other crimes gives me hope.
I can’t even begin to imagine the pain Luis’s family must be going through, still waiting for answers after all this time. The idea that simply being incarcerated could put inmates in a position to help by providing vital information is fascinating and somewhat comforting. It's like every card has the potential to save a family from years of unanswered questions.
Anyone with even a hint of information should reach out to Waterbury PD. These small pieces could make a world of difference, not just for the investigators but also for the family who misses Luis every single day.
Just came across Luis Guncay's case in the cold case playing cards, and it’s so sad to see that it’s still unsolved after ten years. It makes me think about how many people are still out there who might know something but are too scared or hesitant to come forward. It's frustrating that such a simple yet effective tool has helped solve some cases but hasn’t brought justice for Luis and his family yet. I really hope that someone, maybe even an inmate who knows something, will have a change of heart and decide to speak up. Even the smallest piece of information could turn this whole thing around. If you're out there reading this and you know anything, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Let’s hope the family gets the answers they need.
