I was reading more about the Windsor Locks case from June 2014, and something that's been really baffling me is how there were absolutely no signs beforehand of any trouble between Stuart and Brigitte Duncan. It's so unusual that a couple with no outwardly visible issues could end up in a situation like this. From what neighbors and friends said, they seemed to keep to themselves quite a bit, but still, you would think there might have been some kind of small warning. I can't help but think of their children. It's tough enough being away at camp and then to come back to such devastating news—it's just unimaginable. My heart goes out to them and the community that's trying to heal from this. I'm also curious how the authorities are piecing things together without much to go on. I just hope the family finds the closure they need, and the kids can eventually find some peace. What a heavy burden to bear.
