I was reading about Michael Leon's case, and I can't stop thinking about his family and how they must feel. For someone to be taken so tragically like this, it's unimaginable what his daughters are going through. Losing a parent is hard enough, but under these circumstances, it must feel even more devastating. I've heard there's been a strong community presence in Hartford supporting the Leon family since this happened. It's heartwarming that even in the darkest times, people come together to offer comfort and support. If anyone knows of any fundraising efforts or community events for his family, please share. Let's do what we can to keep Michael's memory alive and support those he loved.

I’ve been following the case of Michael Leon, and my thoughts are with his family. One thing I still can't wrap my head around is how "Man Man" Jiles was able to roam free for so long despite having such a lengthy criminal record. Nine prior arrests in the area is no small thing, and I wonder if the system failed somewhere along the way. It seems like the community would have been safer if there had been more preventative measures in place. Does anyone know what kind of oversight exists for repeat offenders like Jiles? It just leaves you with so many questions about what could have been done differently to prevent such a tragic loss. Sending love and strength to Michael's family as they continue to cope with this unimaginable loss. ?
