Has anyone else looked into the odd timing of the arrest warrants for Keith Hurst and Phillip Williams a few months after Everett Scott's tragic death? It seems like it took a while for things to progress. I’m curious if there was some turning point in the investigation around November 2015 that led them to finally issue the warrants. It's a relief to know the Major Crimes Division stayed on it and managed to catch these guys, but I wonder if there might have been hurdles or new info that caused the delay. Thoughts or any inside info on this? My heart goes out to Everett's family and friends; navigating something like this must have been unimaginably difficult.
