I came across Francesca Ratchford's case, and it’s truly been lingering in my thoughts. I didn’t know her personally, but from what I’ve read, she was a wonderful person with a bright spirit. I keep thinking about that night in July 2015 and how tragic it must have been for her little boy to lose his mom in such a senseless act of violence. One thing that’s been on my mind is the lack of surveillance footage in the area. It seems like it could've been a crucial piece of evidence to nail down more specifics, like who might have been lurking around Congress Avenue that morning. Does anyone know if there’s been any push from the community to install more cameras in high-risk areas since Francesca’s incident? It seems like a missed opportunity, but maybe it could help prevent something like this in the future. My heart goes out to her family, especially her child, who had to face such a tremendous loss at an incredibly young age. I sincerely hope someone comes forward with information. It's so important for her loved ones to see some form of justice. If anyone knows updates or how the family is holding up, please share. They’re in my thoughts.
