I’ve been following the Wiggins case and something that puzzles me is the sequence of events leading up to the tragic incident. The testimonies indicate that Marshall Wiggins was targeted specifically for his designer glasses and rings. I can't help but wonder if there was something else about Wiggins that caught Gaston's attention. Was this really just a spur-of-the-moment decision based on greed, or is there more beneath the surface? It's haunting to think about how, even after complying, Wiggins still faced such a violent end. The randomness of it all must make it that much harder for his loved ones to find peace. To confront the senselessness of the actions that night must be an ongoing struggle for them, especially knowing that it could have been avoided. My heart goes out to his family as they continue to deal with the repercussions of one person's cruel decision.
