Hey folks, I was just reading about the Shirley Baumann case, and something caught my attention that I hadn’t noticed before. It seems like she was really prepared for her hike, being an experienced hiker and all. But what’s odd to me is that they never found her reading glasses or sunglasses. As a fellow glasses-wearer, I know I’d be in trouble without them. It makes me wonder if something unexpected happened when she may have taken them off for some reason. Like, could she have set them down and gotten disoriented, or maybe something startled her? It's just strange, considering how thorough the search was. Curious if any locals have thoughts on the conditions she might’ve faced or if anyone else has experienced similar situations while hiking in that area. Stay safe out there!
