I just can’t stop thinking about the vigil that Mothers United Against Violence held for Shaq on June 29th. I wasn’t able to attend, but seeing the community come together like that must have been incredibly powerful and emotional. It’s a reminder not just of the loss we've all suffered, but also of the strength and resilience within the Hartford community. Holding these events is so important; it keeps Shaq's memory alive and raises awareness about the need for change. I truly hope that the collective voice demanding justice will lead to some progress in this case. It’s been way too long with no answers. Has anyone heard anything new or seen any media coverage about recent developments? Shaq's family deserves to know who took away this wonderful man from them.

Just want to take a moment to reflect on the impact of the community vigil held by Mothers United Against Violence for Caron "Shaq" Canty. It must have been incredibly powerful for everyone who attended. Vigils like these seem to be a crucial part of the healing process, not just for the family but for the entire community. Seeing everyone come together in support and demanding change is moving. Is there anyone from the Hartford area who attended this vigil or similar events and can share what it's like being there in person? I can't help but hope that gatherings like these keep the pressure on for justice while also providing some comfort to those who loved Shaq. My heart goes out to his little girls; I can't imagine how hard this must be for them.

I came across this case recently and my heart goes out to Shaq's family and friends. It’s just so hard to comprehend how senseless and cruel acts of violence continue to impact so many lives. I attended the vigil held by Mothers United Against Violence back in June 2019, and one thing that stood out to me was the overwhelming unity and support displayed by everyone present. I’ve been following a few discussions online, and it seems like there haven’t been any developments in identifying or arresting the suspect(s). It’s really frustrating. I can’t imagine how difficult this must be for Shaq’s family, especially his young daughters. They deserve answers and justice. Has anyone heard any rumors or unofficial updates that haven't been widely reported? It's just gut-wrenching to see such a vibrant life cut short without any resolution. If anyone is closer to the local community in Hartford, it’d be great to hear how folks there are holding up or if there’s been any progress behind the scenes that might bring some closure.
