I’ve been thinking a lot about Michael Holmes’ 911 call and how it plays into everything. It’s interesting that he reported the shooting himself, which makes me wonder about his real involvement that night. Was it a move to divert suspicion or an actual display of panic? I can’t get over the fact that he might have been the intended target, which adds a whole new layer of complexity. It’s just unsettling to think how Curtis McCray Jr.’s life was cut short in what might have been a case of mistaken identity. Sending love to Curtis’s family; I can only imagine how difficult it must be for them to process everything. It's such a difficult case to wrap my head around—hoping the truth comes to light during the trial.

I was reading about the tragic case of Curtis McCray Jr., and something stuck with me. I can't imagine the chaos and fear that must have enveloped the community that night. It's such a densely populated area, and to have gunshots ring out in the early hours must have been terrifying for residents. I also find it quite interesting that Michael Holmes, who was eventually charged, was actually the person who called 911 that night. It makes me wonder about his motivations—why call if he was involved, or was he really just caught up in the wrong place at the wrong time? The tension between his claim of being a potential target and the charges against him raises so many questions. I hope the investigation uncovered clear evidence to provide justice for Curtis and peace for his family. It's another reminder of how tightly woven community safety and justice really are. My heart goes out to Angela Hester-McCray and everyone affected by this senseless act. Don't people often say a mother should never have to bury her child? Just thinking about her loss is so painful.
