I've been closely following the case of Roberto Rivera's tragic death, and I'm curious about how community programs in New Haven are responding to this rise in gang violence, especially with the recent indictments related to the "Exit 8" gang. I wonder if there are any initiatives to support those affected by gang violence or efforts to help steer at-risk youth away from that lifestyle. It's devastating to think of how this violence has torn families apart, and I hope there are measures being put in place to prevent others from experiencing the same kind of loss that Rivera's family has gone through.
