Every time I think about the tragedy that took Robert Lee Joines away from us, my heart goes out to his friends and family. I can't imagine the pain they're going through right now. It’s unnerving to know that despite it being months since that terrible night, there are still no leads or suspects in custody.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the gathering that was happening in the parking lot where Robert was found. With so many people around, it's surprising and alarming that no one has come forward with any substantial information. Is it really possible that no one saw anything? It really makes you wonder if there’s more going on beneath the surface, perhaps a fear of coming forward or maybe people are just scared.
Also, the fact that it was the fourth homicide in New Haven that year is really concerning. Is there a pattern we’re missing? Or are these incidents unrelated? I know law enforcement is working hard, but with the community’s help, maybe we can find some answers and start to bring closure to Robert’s loved ones. Let’s keep pushing for the truth, and if anyone knows anything, please consider reaching out anonymously if needed. Every tip can help.
I can't stop thinking about the community aspect in this tragic situation. Quinnipiac Avenue has always felt like a tight-knit area, where neighbors look out for each other. It’s hard to imagine that something this violent could happen so close to home. I’m hoping that the people who were in the parking lot or those who might’ve seen anything will step forward. Sharing even the smallest detail could be crucial. My thoughts are with Robert's family and friends. Let's hope justice is served and they find some peace in this difficult time. If anyone here is from New Haven or knows someone who might have been in the area, please encourage them to reach out to the police. Every bit of help counts right now.
